Consortium for Organizational Mental Healthcare (COMH)

The Consortium for Organizational Mental Healthcare (COMH) is a collective of mental health researchers, consultants and practitioners with experience working with a range of public and private sector organizations. Our goal is to further the creation and translation of mental health knowledge and practice into real-world settings. To achieve this objective, we form collaborative relationships with committed organizations, leaders and experts to achieve specific outcomes.

COMH is part of the Centre for Applied Research in Mental Health and Addiction (CARMHA; www.carmha.ca), a research centre within the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University. CARMHA's mandate is to conduct research that can be applied to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of mental health and addiction services in Canada. Research activities at CARMHA address innovative approaches to the development, implementation and dissemination and evaluation of health promotion activities, preventive strategies and treatment services, particularly those that can be applied at a system-wide, population level.
